1x.com Article: “Psychology of Photography Simplified”

A fellow photographer friend of mine sent this to me. I had no idea that 1x.com did a feature on my conceptualization of “Oramagraphy” (a Psychology of Photography) that is very much based on my training, practices and what I teach in the Behaviour Sciences. I deleted my account awhile back given some of the concerns with selling images for prints without proper permissions. I would have liked to stay but that did it for me. Maybe things have changed. The photography is stellar on the platform. I would have chosen much different photos to describe the concepts but it really is up to others to decide how it works for them. I am flattered nonetheless.

Danube Labuda, Editor, wrote the following about it (which is quite nice of him to say): “John Kosmopoulos has made another attempt towards defining the art and craft of photography. Although many others have done so, Kosmopoulos´ one is much different. No pile of pages or even books cir-cum-describing the same insufficient puzzle of ideas struggling to carve them into words. It’s subtle. It’s simple. It’s apt.”
