To unveil and discover new worlds beneath the surface of your everyday perceptions of colour is what the “infrachroma” project, Earth-Mars series, is all about. It is an editing of reality with a surreal palette of the imagination using multiple techniques, composites and creative approaches. It is also a study of the psychology of colours and its effect on each one of us as the viewing of each image is meant to cocoon and affectionately play with our senses. It is how a vibrancy and vitality of colours offer dimensionality and shift our perspective to view the world with nascent eyes. When the familiar is made familiar-in-parallel, a perceptual twinning of sorts, the same way we adapt to new and unknown surroundings, we may become enlightened by our explorations into the unknown and make sense of it through artistic expression.
